Come spend the day with me at The Honeystead for a little slowing down, herbal learning, and much-needed self-care.

Our Herbal Spa Workshop is all about taking some of the beautiful herbs we work with in the apothecary and learning how they can be used to care for our skin, our bodies, and ourselves.

We’ll make things together, sip herbal tea, enjoy a few sweet treats, and spend the day learning how something as simple as herbs, warm water, and a little intention can turn into something pretty special.

What We’ll Spend the Day Learning

We’ll begin by exploring some of the herbs in the apothecary and talking about the different ways they have traditionally been used to nourish and support the body.

Then we’ll get to work!

Throughout the day, we’ll explore and create things like:

• Herbal facial steams
• Relaxing herbal foot baths
• Herbal bath salts
• Nourishing face masks
• Herbal teas to enjoy from the inside out
• Herbs traditionally used for skin and body care
• Simple ways to bring herbal self-care into your home
• Sweet herbal treats to enjoy while we work

This is a hands-on workshop, so you’ll have the opportunity to work with the herbs, smell them, taste them, blend them, and turn them into preparations you can actually use at home.

Caring for Ourselves with Herbs

So often when we think about our home apothecary, we think about reaching for herbs when something is wrong.

But herbs can be part of caring for ourselves when nothing is wrong, too.

They can remind us to slow down.

To soak our feet at the end of a long day.

To make a cup of tea and actually sit down long enough to drink it.

To take a few extra minutes to care for our skin or fill a bath with something beautiful.

That is really what I want this workshop to be—a day to learn, but also a day to simply enjoy.

You’ll Take Your Creations Home

Throughout the workshop, you’ll be creating herbal preparations that you can take home and continue enjoying.

More importantly, you’ll leave knowing how to make them again.

My hope is that these aren’t things you make once during a workshop and forget about. I want you to understand the herbs and the process well enough that you can recreate your favorites at home, change the blends to fit what you love, and make them for yourself or even as thoughtful handmade gifts.

No Experience Needed

You don’t need an established home apothecary or years of herbal knowledge to join us.

If you love herbs, are curious about natural body care, or simply need an excuse to slow down for the day, this workshop is for you.

Come as you are.

We’ll learn together, make beautiful things, drink some tea, eat something sweet, and enjoy a day surrounded by herbs and good company.
